Thighbrows on fleek!
Our obsessions with our bodies are starting to get a little bit weird. For some reason, we’ve especially been focused on eyebrows and thighs in recent years. Of course, we all know about the eyebrow trend that’s been taking over. The one that involves pointy, thick, over-the-top eyebrows.
Now there’s a new kid in town:
The latest trend involves not the notorious “thigh gap,” but the opposite. While the thigh gap focuses on skinny, spaced-out hips, “thighbrows” are all about that bass. The thighbrow is the line formed on the upper thigh where curvy hips meet the leg.
As demonstrated here by Kylie Jenner:
The trend is allegedly a body positive trend, though some critics say they don’t see how. “I don’t see how this can be called a body-positive trend when it requires a high cut bathing suit. It also seems to require a flat belly, so that line about it being achievable for anyone seems fishy,” said Courtney Marshall, a Women’s Studies professor at the University of New Hampshire, according to Mirror.
However, with the current look of bathing suits (high in the front and thin in the back), thighbrows work very well for those that have the body. So if you got it, flaunt it, until the next trend comes around.
Next, we’ll be trying to make our eyebrows look like chicken thighs.
