The Fresh-Prince of Bel-Air may not be returning to television anytime soon, but artist Leland Foster imagined what it would look like if they did.
The classic 90’s show that rocketed Will Smith to fame recently celebrated its 25 year anniversary. To commemorate the event, Foster re-imagined what the cast would dress and look like in the year 2015. Foster teamed up with retailer Lyst, and created a beautiful modern day conception of one of our favorite TV shows.
The old school characters were reinvented with Hispter styles and artsy personalities. There’s modern staples of technology, like Carton’s Google glass and Will’s earbuds. There’s also Ashley’s radically unique transformation, donning a short haircut and a septum piercing.
Even Jeffery makes an appearance:
Aunt Vivian has not yet been re-imagined, but Foster says she may come later, according to Design Boom. Foster also created a few modernized Seinfeld character’s and made them look gloriously trendy by today’s standards.
Modern George is perfection:
And Kramer’s manbun is on point:
We’re excited to see what other work comes from this talented artist.
