Baby stingrays are the happiest little bundles of terror you’ve ever seen.
Remember ET, the extra-terrestrial? We all fell in love with that bundle of joy in 1982 and the internet may have found a few other adorable terrors from his home planet. While we can neither confirm nor deny that these animals are actually aliens (they’re totally aliens) we can assure you that they are adorable and just a little bit creepy looking.
When was the last time you saw a baby stingray dancing in a tank? I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume it’s been a while. Unless you’re a marine biologist or you work for Sea World, chances are you rarely encounter these little guys. So you might be surprise when you see this video. For example:
Wait, they have legs?!
Apparently, stingrays have some form of a lower limb underneath all that leathery skin. They are also see-through in the early stages of their lives and they have these really cute little smiles. They dance and squirm and they may even do the Macarena. These stingrays look like foreign, but equally precious, alien monster babies.
