Bathrobes are the new “it” look
Picture it: you’re sitting in a coffee shop in March 2016, waiting for your friend. You’re stuck feeling like a sulky, chubby little kid, due to your ridiculously puffy jacket, which swallows your neck, dwarfs your arms, and extends into the seat next to you.
Then, in walks said friend (who is apparently a fashionista) donning a floor-length, heavy coat with a belt tied around her waist. It fits to her form, has lapels, cuffs, and does not swallow her like my Uncle Jerry swallows everything on Thanksgiving. It’s the perfect collision of polished and warm and now that you’ve seen your fashionista friend wearing this, you’d like to get one yourself.
