The Japanese countryside is known for being tranquil, peaceful and beautiful.
Exciting, however, is not what you’d call this farmland, where life pretty much consists of field work during the day and sleep after the sun goes down.
But, that’s going by human standards.
If you’re a dog, rural Japan can be filled with thrills.
These three Shiba puppies have dashed into the farm field and spotted a leafy green target. They have set their sights on a cabbage, and their primal hunting instincts have kicked in.
The pups surround their target, and while wagging their fluffy tails they chow down on what seems like the most delicious thing they’ve ever had.
It’s actually more like a feeding frenzy, on none other than a cabbage.
And a risk of hurting their pride, everything about these would-be predators is adorable.
