It’s hard to understand why anyone would want to abandon an animal for being born a little different but sadly, we see it way too often.
We recently brought you this touching story of a tiny chihuahua who was left for dead, because she was born without her two front legs. Luckily, just like in the following story, that little dog was rescued by heroes and is now a celebrity in her own right.
This time around, we meet a two-legged dog who was found roaming the streets in Peru, searching for food and shelter. However, despite Estrella’s handicap and hardship, nothing stopped this fearless stray.

In the following video from Rumble, we learn how Estrella is now thriving at the shelter, becoming the most popular dog in town, with many people hoping to adopt the 1.5-year-old mixed breed.

Reuters reports that the kind couple who took in Estrella, their star, hope to use the special dog’s newfound celebrity status to help raise awareness for animals with disabilities and funding for their small-but-mighty animal shelter.
One look at Estrella and you will see that nothing can hold this brave little dog down! She’s truly an inspiration.
