Never has the game of peekaboo gone from heartwarming to terrible in such a short amount of time.
It was all fun and games when daddy and his 19-month-old daughter Brenna were enjoying a game of peekaboo, until daddy gave Brenna a surprise she was not expecting.
For months, dad, Bradley Bailey had been growing out his beard, despite his wife telling him he wouldn’t be able to do it because it would be too itchy for him. Bradley was determined to prove her wrong, so he let it grow a little too long.
When it came time to cut it, Bradley’s 4-year-old son said he wanted to help shave the beard because he never saw daddy without facial hair before. So, they removed the hair and now it was time to show Brenna that daddy had no more beard.

Brenna almost didn’t recognize her dad and when she saw him she burst into tears.
Dad says, “Her reaction was a bit more extreme than either of us expected, but she got over it after a few hours and playing many Patty cakes with her.”
