Reunions like this one never get old!
Here at LifeDaily, we love saluting our nation’s heroes, especially when they return home after being away from their loved ones for long periods of time.
As you can see in this sweet video, there’s really nothing greater than a soldier being reunited with the people that keep them going through the difficult times on deployment.
That’s exactly why when Mason Miller discovered he would be returning home from being overseas, he knew exactly where he had to go first…to see his very own hero.
Family friend and accomplice to Miller’s big surprise Scott Kelley wrote on GrayWolfSurvival blog “Mason has been on this Afghanistan combat tour and mobilization/demobilization for the past year. They’ve always been a very tight family.”

Kelley, who posted the video to YouTube, helped Miller surprise his father at the hospital he works at, a surprise he never saw coming.

Kelley wrote he had a special connection to Miller, as he was also deployed in Afghanistan in the past, and that his son was currently stationed there at the time of his neighbor’s homecoming.
“Absolutely precious. Try not to cry. I’m just glad I was behind the camera. One of the absolute best proud, loving dad moments ever caught.” Kelley wrote.
