Employee Hears Strange Noise Coming From A Storage Unit And Finds A Cat Trapped In It

Miss Donut has had a rough month, but fortunately she’s back with her family now.

However, for nearly a month, the cat was LOCKED inside a storage unit. She was discovered when warehouse employee Patrick Spencer came into work one day and heard some strange sounds, according to KFOR.

Confused by what sounded like meowing, Spencer went to investigate and unlocked the large moving pod. Upon cracking it open, he discovered Miss Donut trapped inside, shaking, and little more than skin and bones.

After scratching his head in confusion, Spender gave Miss Donut a huge bowl of water, to which the cat responded by drinking, and drinking, and drinking…

He then took her for a ride to return Miss Donut to her happy owners. The cat was thrilled to be out of the moving pod:

In this case, curiosity ALMOST killed the cat. Fortunately, Miss Donut made it out alive and well. 

Unfortunately, these kinds of stories are more common than you’d expect. In 2014, a similar thing happened when a family moved to Oregon and locked their cat in the moving pod by accident.
