What’s someone with cabin fever to do during a major snowstorm in New York? Well.. go skiing and snowboarding obviously!
YouTuber Casey Neistat and Jesse Wellens made everyone jealous when they took their skis, snowboard and a GoPro and went on an epic adventure around the near-empty streets of NYC.
Both are popular YouTube producers, so it comes as no surprise that they would take advantage of one of New York’s worst snowstorms and turn it into YouTube gold. With a small team by their side, the two set off on the streets of Times Square, being pulled by a Jeep Wrangler, and attached to it by rope.

Neistat was on the snowboard, and Wellens on the skis, and their drone above captured all of their blizzardy adventure. The two breezed right past cars, Taxis, and even the NYPD, who informed them they “had” to pull them over due to complaints, but that they were in no trouble at all.
Neistat responded to police, “You guys are awesome!” and titled his YouTube video Snowboarding With The NYPD in honor of the friendly encounter.
Oh.. and all of this was set to Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York, making it that much more of a winter wonderland.
