Husband Sends His Widow Flowers Every Valentine’s Day For The Rest Of Her Life

It’s not your typical fairy tale story, but it’s just as charming as one.

On last year’s February 14 , Shelly Golay went through her first Valentine’s Day without her husband by her side. Her last husband Jim passed away from a the year before. However, before he passed, he made sure Shelly would be taken care of (or at least thought of) every Valentine’s Day that he couldn’t be there for her.

During that first holiday of love without her husband, Shelly received this beautiful bouquet of flowers:

Upon calling the florist, Shelly found out that Jim had organized a strategic way to ensure Shelly is always given a loving reminder from him on Valentine’s Day every single year until she dies.

It might not be the tale of a white knight, but this man has a heart of gold and creativity to match. Shelly is obviously going through a hardship at this time in her life and we hope she pulls through knowing she’s cherished and remembered.
