Dying Dog Slowly Check Items Off Her Bucket List, One Cheeseburger And Car Ride At A Time

Meet Pinto, a California dog living life to its fullest.

The dog was dropped off at Contra Costa Animal Services in California last July with a significantly large wound on her head. Without any notice of where she had come from or how she got the injury, emergency vets went to work on the dog and tried to help her as best they could.

While the surgery was a success, the vets noticed the poor dog taking longer than usual to heal. While she made a recovery from the head trauma, it was discovered that Pinto had a brain tumor as was ultimately destined to die from it.

Because the dog isn’t in any pain, Pinto’s bucket list has been born, an effort to ensure she lives the rest of her doggie days to the fullest.

Thus far, the dog has been married to another sick dog, Rembrandt, who is ill with an unknown condition. The two had a special day together shortly before he went to doggie heaven:

And she visited a farm connected with Umbrella of Hope, a place that helps sick animals. She hung out with some cool critters over there.
