Bei Bei is a 6-month-old panda cub who lives at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC.
He is the only baby panda at the zoo, and as you can imagine, he receives some pretty special treatment.
Bei Bei has been documented in videos on the Zoo’s YouTube since December, and he is continuing to win over the hearts of all animal lovers.
A few weeks ago, after many failed attempts, Bei Bei was successfully able to climb his first tree. Except, he was having a bit of trouble getting down, until his mother came to his rescue. Bei Bei’s mom, Mei Xang was there at just the right time to give her son a helping hand and ensure he got down the tree safely.
