Street artists and city planners have come up with a new way to keep people smiling when skies are gray.
The same goes for Seattle, Washington, where it rains about three days a week. In response to the dreary time of monsoon season and massive precipitation in Seattle, artists have taken to the street with a vibrant way to lighten the mood.
A team in South Korea started a campaign called #ProjectMonsoon, where they created incredible works of art on the street with a special kind of paint that becomes vivid when hit with water.

The pictures are ordinarily an opaque gray that blends with the streets, but when the rain pours down, so does the color.
