It’s been eight years since the horrific car crash that nearly took Chloe Thomson’s life, but the teenager still is reminded of her pain and continued suffering every time she looks in a mirror.
However, the brave 19-year-old from Gourock, Renfrewshire in the U.K. says that Facebook has helped her to love the way she looks and fight back at cruel online bullies.
Nearly every bone in Chloe’s face was broken when the car she was riding in hit a tree when she was just 11 years old.
“The things the bullies were saying were horrific, it’s really hard to forget. It’s only recently that I’ve managed to get over it,” Chloe says in the Good Morning Britain clip below.
Just a few months ago, Chloe decided to fight back against the bullies by sharing her deeply personal story and all she has had to overcome since that fateful day.
