Unless for some reason you purposely want to fail, playing a cruel prank on your teacher is always a bad idea 364 days of the year. On April 1st, however, anything goes!
A college math professor from Grand Rapids, Michigan thought he’d be the one pulling a fast one on his students with a pop quiz, but it turned out they had a few tricks up their sleeves as well. Stephen Barrows, a Macroeconomics professor at Aquinas College learned the hard way that using embarrassment and humiliation to teach students a lesson is a good idea every day but on April Fools’.
Barrows had the genius idea of forcing his students to answer their phones every time one rings and interrupts his class… that was until one girl’s phone rang on April 1st and he instantly regretted his golden rule.
Taylor Nefcy was asked to put her conversation on speakerphone for the entire class to hear as “Kevin” a fictional representative from “The Pregnancy Resource Center” called to confirm she and an out-of-the-picture father were expecting.
The look on his face says it all – this is PRICELESS!
