It’s very difficult for any child when their beloved pet goes missing, but it was especially difficult for 1o-year-old Jared.
Jared suffers from autism, and his 11-year-old cat Clyde has been by his side his entire life.
Having grown up together, the two have been partners in crime since they were babies, and to say they were inseparable would be an understatement.
When no one else understood Jared, Clyde did. So learning that his best friend was missing was the worst news Jared could hear.
Almost two weeks went by that Clyde was away from Jared and the family, until one day his mom received a phone call.
Miraculously, a neighbor spotted Clyde after recognizing him from a Lost and Found ad and returned him while Jared was at school. Jared’s parents knew they had to film the incredible moment Jared was reunited with his cat, and it was tearful to say the least.
