They thought they were bringing home a sick dog, and they did. But they never expected to also bring home a miracle.
However, that’s what happened to an American family when they visited Ankara, Turkey. During their stay in this region of the world, a Mom and her daughter came upon a shelter that had 4,000 dogs.
The shelter was an overwhelming mass of confusion that couldn’t do much to help many of its dogs. However, this family stepped up to try.
They found a litter of four dogs. They were sick, being trampled, and living in horrendous conditions.
“I thought we were bringing them home to die,” says Mom in the heart melting video below. However, a miracle came in the form of a puppy named Faith.
Faith was the runt of the litter, the tiniest pipsqueak of them all. However, he pulled through when his three siblings could not. Faith fought against the odds and went on to become not just a loving family pet, but an inspiration.
