Seven months is a devastating amount of time to go without seeing your best friend…especially if you’re a face-licking, hug-loving labrador.

So when Sandy was separated from her lovable owner Maria for seven long months, this dog was more depressed than a kid getting nothing but coal for Christmas.

As soon as Maria got home, she went and hid behind the bed. Then, a friend let Sandy in the door too.

Now, Sandy knew Maria’s scent and she knew something smelled funny when she walked through that door.

The happy dog paced about the house for a few moments trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. Finally, she found Maria and this is when she absolutely lost it. I’ve never seen a dog more excited to see somebody in my life. Well, maybe I have.
