Photographer Shares Touching Photo Of Baby In Late Father’s Gloves

When it comes to dream jobs, being a professional photographer is usually toward the top of many people’s lists.

As you can see in this hilarious post, you never know just what you’re going to capture on camera, and who you’ll be asked to do a photo shoot of next. It’s not uncommon for people to say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but we know pretty well that sometimes one very special photo can be worth so much more.

Photographer Kim Stone loves to shoot wedding parties, families, and newborns near her home in Marianna, FL, but she recently learned how one great shot can change a photographer’s career forever. A photo taken by Stone of baby girl Aubrey has recently gone viral for the bittersweet story behind it.

In the photo below, baby Aubrey lies peacefully in her father’s motorcycle gloves with the biggest smile on her teeny face.

“Her Daddy loved his motorcycle. He always wore protective gear. He wanted to make sure he was safe. He couldn’t take any chances with a new baby girl on the way,” Stone wrote on her Facebook page.

“But he will never hold his baby girl. His life was taken just a month before she was born by someone he considered a friend. They say that angels are talking to babies when they smile in their sleep. I guess maybe that’s true.”

Stone shared the following touching post below in the aftermath of the surprise viral photo and story of Aubrey and her mom Kathryn:

“To say I am overwhelmed is an understatement. This has been served to over 11 MILLION people with 234 Thousand LIKES. So many of you have prayed for Kathryn and Aubrey. Thank you for that. Thats way more important than likes on a page. My intention was to give Kathryn a powerful image. Well…that’s what happens when you pray first.
I appreciate every one of you. (Well, not the nasty people who wrote filthy comments. I think we got them all banned.) I’m just so overwhelmed. It’s a God thing, I’m sure.”

Since Kathryn and Aubrey’s dad Hector were not yet married, although they had planned a surprise wedding one week before their baby’s due date, she is not considered a widow by the state of Florida.

A family friend has set up this GoFundMe page to help Kathryn and Aubrey piece together their lives and afford necessities for this newborn who will never get to know her father.
