Hero Bus Driver Praised For Preventing School Shooting In North Carolina

If you still think the United States doesn’t need better gun control laws, think for a second what could have happened at South Macon Elementary School had hero bus driver Alice Bradley not been keeping her eyes wide open.

It could have happened outside any school, anywhere in the world, but Adam Conley and Kathryn Jeter decided to choose South Macon in Macon County, North Carolina to terrorize and murder innocent children.

Luckily, these two monsters are now locked away behind bars thanks to quick-thinking bus driver Alice Bradley, who noticed the creepy-looking couple lingering outside her bus on what would otherwise be a typical Thursday morning.

Bradley told Macon County Sheriff’s Department that Conley pointed a gun at her so she slammed on the gas and sent him running. “He just pointed it at me, and I said ‘Lord he’s going to shoot me.’ I just boarded my car and went toward him,” Bradley told MyFox8.

“Everybody says I was a hero, but I was scared to death,” she told the Citizen-Times before being honored with National Association for Pupil Transportation’s Heroism Award.

“I think I was more mad than I was scared,” Bradley said of the gruesome twosome who had 5 fully-loaded pistols and planned to shoot up the school.

Police reported finding a murdered cat on the school campus. When they asked the gunmen why they killed the cat, they responded it was “defective.”

Locals are calling the bus driver a hero, but she says she did what anyone else would have. “God had his hand in it, I know he did,” Bradley told Citizen-Times.
