Grateful Dog Has Not Stopped Smiling Since He’s Been Rescued From The Shelter

Meatball is a pit bull mix who has not stopped smiling since he was adopted from Fresno Bully Rescue in 2014. 

Two years ago, a woman named Lisa Reilly saw Meatball’s photo online, and she was immediately reminded of her deceased dog Kitty. Having a d gut feeling about Meatball, Reilly went to the shelter to meet him, and it was love at first sight. 

“Fresno Bully Rescue did a great job nursing Meaty from the first time I saw him until I was able to bring him home,” Reilly told The Dodo. After just a few short weeks, Reilly was ready to take Meatball home with her, and he was introduced to her other dogs- Punky, Ricardo Tubbs, Bitty, and Dappe.

Once Meatball became acclimated to his new home, and Reilly noticed that whenever she would point a camera at him, Meatball would smile.
