Right up there with 79-year-old Stella Liebeck, who sued McDonald’s for serving coffee that was too hot, a Hudson Valley grandmother has decided to take legal action against KFC fast-food restaurants over a bucket of their famous fried chicken.

Anna Wurtzburger, of Hopewell Junction, NY in the Hudson Valley, has taken the legal action after being disappointed that her $26 bucket did not have enough food for “a couple of meals”, according to the New York Post. Now, she’s slapping a $20 million lawsuit on that order with a diet coke and a side of fries.

“They say it feeds the whole family… They’re showing a bucket that’s overflowing with chicken,” the 64-year-old said. The quirky Grandmother called the food chain complain about the false advertising and was told the commercials are only marketed that way so viewers at home could see the fine details of the chicken.

“You get half a bucket! That’s false advertising and it doesn’t feed the whole family. They’re small pieces,” she insisted.

KFC sent her $70 worth of gift cards to their food chain, but she returned them to headquarters, opting instead for the lawsuit. Just think of all the chicken you could buy with $20 million.

Do you find this story ridiculous or genius? Have you ordered this $26 bucket of chicken and found yourself with the same complaint?
