Anyone who has ever had a dog knows they eat just about anything they can get in their mouth, which is why one man is terrified by what he found laying in his backyard.
Shortly after waking up, one Australian man went outside to quickly check the backyard before letting his two dogs outside where they typically spent their days. He was soon shocked to find raw meat that appeared to be covered in a green chemical substance scattered around his yard.
The dog owner quickly collected all the poisoned meat from his yard and driveway, so his beloved dogs didn’t get sick then replayed his security footage from the previous night, and discovered that a man believed to be John Barry Wood snuck up to his backyard at around five in the morning and tossed the poisoned meat to bait his precious pets.
The stunned man immediately reported the incident to the ACT Policing and although Wood insists he is not guilty, he faces a $1,000 fine and up to six months in jail when the case returns to court this January.
