Maddie has an impressive set of skills.
Maddie is a 10-week-old Dachshund who was taught by her owner to ring a bell to get a tasty treat. It’s a trick as old as Pavlov’s dog.
The pooch has been well-trained by her owner to do what the rich and famous pay to achieve: ringing a bell and being waited on hand and foot. Yes, Maddie is well on her way toward becoming the next Leona Helmsley, a successful businesswoman who was known for her opulent lifestyle and nasty ways. Helmsley used to have a servant wait at the end of her swimming pool and feed her shrimp after each lap during her morning swim.
If Maddie’s master isn’t careful, he is going to have his own little princess barking commands at him and demanding the same kind of treatment. Of course, things might work out a little bit differently when the snack you’re being fed comes in the form of kibble. But this pup is being conditioned for bigger and better things.
