Have you ever felt like these ducks?
I know I certainly have. Life is often like going the wrong way on an escalator or automated airport walkway. As hard as you try, you can’t seem to stay ahead of the current. As hard as you try, you find yourself stuck in the wrong direction or helplessly tumbling head over heels down the escalator for all eternity.
Much like whatever is happening here:

Yes, life is like trying to move in the wrong direction on an automated walkway or escalator. Sometimes, you can’t overcome the challenge. If you stay at the same pace, you don’t go anywhere. If you stop moving, you fall behind. In fact, the only way to get ahead is to hustle.
Unfortunately, these poor ducks never came across this great analogy.
Here they are, stuck in literary limbo, unable to see the irony of their own dire situation:
Some times life throws a few (hundred) curve balls your way. Try climbing your way up this escalator:

And other times, the escalator of life has your back and comes in handy quite well, if you just hold on:
