Hot Puppies Cool Off With Some Cold Ice Cubes

The weather may be frightful this time of year, but these puppies would LOVE some of that chilliness.

Yes, we have found the coolest video on the web, despite when it was filmed. The video is a few years old, harking back to September 2013, but it’s been making its rounds online and already has over a million views.

It appears the video was filmed in the waning days of summer when the days were still hot, but Fall was not far off (if only we could experience some of that now).

To cool off, a herd of Golden Retriever puppies were given a bowl of ice.

In fact, Dr. Tina Wismer, medical director at the ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center recommends giving dogs ice as a treat. “[Dogs] can be given ice as treats or put in the water bowl. Some behaviorists even recommend freezing toys or treats in ice for dogs to chew on.”

These puppies however, had probably never seen such a watery snack.
