Fix Earth. Protect Earth. Help Earth.
It’s a simple, but crucial message from a most unlikely source, yet it’s one we need to listen to. For the past 20 or so years, Koko the gorilla has amazed humans with her ability to learn and fluently communicate to us through sign language.
As you can see in this incredible video, Koko, who loves all humans and animals, requested to play with a kitten for her 44th birthday. Instead, Koko’s handlers brought the lowland gorilla an entire litter to cuddle with.

This time around, the world-famous gorilla is making headlines for a much more serious reason. In a video posted to Facebook by Noé, an environmental conservation organization that worked with The Gorilla Foundation and Agency Marcel, we see Koko address the very real issue of climate change.
Whether you like to believe in what’s happening to our planet or not, you have to admit that what Koko has to say about how man is treating earth is nothing short of chilling.

“When a gorilla informs you that you are stupid, maybe it’s time to listen.” one person wrote on Facebook, gaining more than 35,000 likes. In the clip, Koko responds to information from a climate-related summit and urges man to take measures to protect our beautiful planet.
When Koko explains that she is one with nature, man and all living things, it’s hard to deny the effects of our destruction.
