Whether you’re on the East Coast and found yourself scouring through Facebook during this past weekend’s blizzard Jonas or if you can’t help but check social media every few minutes like me, chances are pretty good you’ve found your newsfeed loaded with stick figurers recently.
Here’s the deal: that annoying little stick figure guy is named Bill and he’s arrived to call out everyone for their obnoxious social media behavior in the most brilliantly passive aggressive way possible.
It all started on the Facebook page “Be like Bill“, which has more than 1.5 million likes and shares funny memes instructing people to do exactly that.
Bill is good at Facebook – and he wants to encourage you to be, too.

Now there is no escaping Bill. He’s everywhere, but now Bill is your cousin Todd, your coworker Sandy, and Beth, that annoying woman who literally shares everything she sees. And that’s the funniest part of this entire viral sensation…
Because at the end of the day, there’s a person we should all start being more like… it’s ourselves.

So don’t be like Bill. Be like you. No matter what Facebook tells you, you are a lot more awesome than Bill… just don’t go rubbing it everyone’s faces.
