It’s every parents’ worst fear that their child will get cancer, and when one mom found out that her little boy had leukemia, she dreamed of the day he would be officially cancer free.
In 2014, one Bartlesville, Oklahoma mom was concerned when her youngest son Ben was losing weight. 16 days after bringing Ben to the doctor, mom Casi Morris was given the devastating news her son was sick with cancer, which he has been fighting every day since then.
After 1,167 says of agonizing treatment, Casi got a call from the doctors and found out that her son’s latest test for leukemia came back negative, which meant that he was finally cancer free.
Morris called Ben and her older son down from their rooms the minute she walked in the door after finding out the good news, and recorded the emotional moment she got to tell her son he was cancer free, and that his final chemo treatment would be on July 5.
