Southwest Airlines is gaining quite a bit of positive attention after doing something truly inspirational for a family that was struck by tragedy.
Mom, Peggy Uhle, was scheduled to fly from Chicago, Illinois to Columbus, Ohio earlier this week. As her plane pulled away from the gate, Peggy was surprised to hear they were turning around and returning to the gate. She was even more surprised when upon returning to the gate, a flight attendant told her she needed to get off the plane.
Before she was even off the plane, Southwest Airlines had made all the arrangements for her. In less than two hours, Peggy was scheduled to board a flight to Denver and would soon be reunited with her family.
And, of course, this came with no extra expenditure to the family.
According to the last update, Peggy’s son is still in a coma but continuing to recover. We wish Peggy and her family the best of luck as they deal with this hurdle.
If you are inspired by this airlines act of humanity and if you want all businesses to act with this level of kindness, please SHARE with friends and family and let the world know that positive influence is out there.
