Sometimes we just need to watch a video to lift our spirits and lighten our moods, and here is that video. 

This video, uploaded to YouTube and Rumble by Janet Stahlman shows an adorable 7-week-old puppy named Greenboy barking at a tiny carrot as he tries to figure out exactly what it is. 

While this golden puppy is seeing most things for the first time every day, he appears to be frightened by the yummy vegetable. 

Greenboy sits on the floor barking at the carrot, while his brothers and sisters play around him in the kitchen. As we watch and smile from ear-to-ear, we just want to scream, “Eat the carrot!”

Baby Carrot Terrifies Golden Retriever Puppy is an article from: LifeDaily

In Washington, a woman witnessed a very inhumane act, when she saw a driver strap his cat to the back of his car. 

The D.C. woman was so mad at what she saw that she recorded the incident and posted the video to Facebook. She even called WUSA9 News and told them she tried to confront the driver. “All he said was that it was a wild cat,” said Jessica Wright, when she finally stopped the driver Saturday.

The heartbreaking video, recorded on her phone shows a driver transporting the car in what appears to be some type of “Have a Heart” humane animal trap, strapped to the hood of the trunk. Wright told WUSA9, “I was really upset about it. “I just can’t imagine in what world you wouldn’t think that, that wouldn’t be incredibly inhumane, but also like socially unacceptable.”

Wright works as a veterinary technician and was concerned that this was torture for the domesticated animal, and worried if the driver got into an accident. Fairfax County Animal Protection Officer, Sgt. Kim England said, “I have not, no. I’ve been doing this for 10-years and I have never seen that with a cat. It’s really frustrating and disheartening. First of all, you wonder why.”

While she hasn’t seen anything like this before, the sergeant adds that it’s not necessarily illegal. “Anybody that’s having a problem with feral cats is encouraged to call the non-emergency dispatch number so we can talk to them,” said Sgt. England.

Wright said the driver eventually released the car on Gallows Rd, just before she could get to it. After going back and trying to find the cat, she tells the news site, “I’d like to help find a home for it. I’m assuming that it’s someone’s pet because I can’t imagine why you would want to relocate a wild cat and it didn’t seem dangerous or anything, he was able to pull it out of the trap and let it go. That was such a callous and bold thing to do. I can’t believe he did that, so I want to make sure that other people are aware that, that is completely unacceptable.”

Evil Owner Strapped Cat To The Back Of His Car is an article from: LifeDaily

When locals heard an unusual cry coming from a nearby river, they had no idea what could be making so much noise, but could tell that the creature was clearly in pain and suffering.

When the locals reached the Manchanabele Dam in southern India, they discovered a young, male elephant named Sidda who was clearly injured and sick. A few weeks earlier, the elephant had fallen into a ditch in a nearby forest and fractured his leg. To take some pressure off the injured limb, he waded into the water, however, became stuck and was too weak to climb out.

The locals attempted to treat Sidda from the water, but eventually called in experts to pull the elephant out from the water, which took four long hours. Yet despite being pulled to safety, the elephant struggled to stay on his feet and his condition started to deteriorate even further once curious people from the area started flocking to his side to pray for him and bring food.

To calm his anxiety, 50 military officers came to the site to make sure Sidda, who is in ‘grave’ condition, is protected while he tries to heal and have helped build a crane to lift him so doctors can keep him lifted, which will allow them to provide better treatment.

“The Wildlife SOS team is monitoring Sidda round the clock and doing all we can to help this poor elephant by providing him treatment and care,” said Geeta Seshamani, co-founder of Wildlife SOS. “We hope and pray for his recovery. We have already invested substantial resources in providing treatment including sending a veterinarian with a portable digital x-ray machine by plane.”

Heroes Rescue Elephant With A Broken Leg Who Was Trapped In A River is an article from: LifeDaily

Almost all parents can agree that bullying is unacceptable and harmful to everyone involved, however, many parents struggle to accept their child’s responsibility after discovering their child is the problem and put an end to it.

Yet, when one 32-year-old Georgia mom found out her 11-year-old son was bullying a girl in his class, she was very clear with him. If he started trouble at school ever again, she would ‘embarrass’ him. So when the boy got in trouble a second time for bullying, she followed through on her promise.

A little over a month ago, mom Joyce Sweetheart Cole was furious after her son’s school contacted her and told her that her son had bullied a girl. However, when she was called into a meeting on Halloween, she found out her son had kicked the same girl, and decided it was time to teach her boy a lesson.

“The meeting ends and the parent stripped the 11-year-old of his clothing and sent him on out to her car in the parking lot,” Sgt. Dana Pierce from the Cobb County Police Department said. “The school’s staff, including several teachers, went to the 11-year-old’s aid, trying to clothe and cover him so he could avoid being embarrassed.”

After parading him around in front of his classmates, she walked him to her car to bring him home, however, his punishment wasn’t finished. “Just prior to arriving at their apartment complex, she again told him to get out of the car and he was told to walk home, into the apartment complex, without clothes on,” Pierce alleges. Soon after, the police were contacted and arrested Cole for child cruelty and her three children were taken into state custody because of the incident.

Mom Arrested After Forcing Bully Son To Strip Naked And Walk Around School is an article from: LifeDaily

Moms will do anything to make sure their child is safe, but one Australian mom went above and beyond when she risked her life to save another woman’s baby.

Mother-of-four Eloca Arafe had been dropping her kids off at school one day when she saw a man get in a car that she realized belonged to her friend and fellow mom, and started to drive off. She immediately called for her friend who came sprinting from the school, but knew she had to do something when she realized her friend’s six-month-old baby was still inside the car.

“I didn’t know what to do for her. I just felt helpless,” Eloca said. Without hesitating, she lunged towards the moving car after realizing what was happening, and jumped onto the hood and began slamming on the windshield with her hands to stop the thief.

“He’s gone to take off … I don’t know how. I just jumped up on the bonnet and (was) just telling him ‘the baby, the baby’. That’s all we cared about,” she said. “That’s when I came off the car and he just went.”

Despite Eloca’s best attempt to stop the man, she was soon thrown from the car, but luckily, police later found the car after the thief abandoned it with baby Amira safely inside. Now, the brave mother is being called a hero, but she insists it was just her motherly instincts and would do it again in a heartbeat if another child was in danger.

Hero Mom Flings Herself On Top Of A Car To Stop Man Stealing A Baby is an article from: LifeDaily

Most people think that getting a puppy is the last thing expecting parents should do since their hands will be full once the baby comes along, however, one UK mom insists it’s the best decision she’s ever made.

Jade Ambrose had always grown up with dogs and knew that she wanted to get a puppy once she had her own home. And soon after finding out she was pregnant with her first child, Ambrose brought home a six-week-old puppy when she was just 20-weeks along. “We did umm and aah over whether this was the right time to get a dog but we decided that if we got a dog now then the dog and our son could both grow up together.”

Normally, puppies are kept with their mothers until they are eight weeks old, however, Ambrose found out the the mother of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross puppy that she picked out was turning on her litter sooner than expected, so she brought her home at just six weeks. Ambrose nurtured the puppy named Lola with snuggles and puppy milk, which is the reason they bonded so closely.

“Because little Lola was really too young to have left her mum it meant that we struck up a really close bond,” Ambrose said.”And she also got very close to my bump. It was so funny to see, it was as she knew there was another heartbeat – somebody else in there. It might be that she could hear it. She would love to watch the baby inside kicking and would want to lick my tummy when she saw it move. She would lay across my tummy to snuggle with me and the baby. It was so lovely to see.”

However, when Ambrose was 33-weeks pregnant, Lola started barking at her loudly one night as she slept and wouldn’t stop until she got up. “At first we didn’t realize what was going on when Lola woke us and thought she must have been barking at something outside, but then we realized she was barking at me – it was only when I got up to go to the loo that I realized I was losing blood,” she said. Ambrose was quickly losing blood and her water had broken, but because she was able to get to the hospital so quickly, doctors were able to stop the miscarriage.

“Doctors told me that if I had not gone to hospital when I did I would have had to go ahead with the delivery that night, and who knows what would have happened,” she said. “If Lola had not have woken me I don’t know what would have happened because I hadn’t been in any pain at all. I’d have just slept through and it could have been devastating.

“I don’t know whether Lola detected a problem with the heartbeat or it was just doggy intuition – but whatever it was, we will be eternally grateful to her,” said Ambrose, who credits Lola with keeping baby Oliver safely in her belly until full term.

Puppy Saves Mom’s Unborn Baby After She Starts Bleeding Heavily is an article from: LifeDaily

Cheetahs usually welcome around three to five cubs in one birth. Occasionally, however, they give birth to only one single cub, which is quickly abandoned since the mother knows how low the odds are that the one cub will be able to survive in the wild.

So when the staff from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park noticed one of their adult female cheetahs was pregnant, they couldn’t wait to meet the new litter of cubs, however, when they realized there was only one cub in the litter, who was quickly shunned by his mom, they stepped in to find the baby, who they named Ruuxa, a companion.

The zoo was able to find an 8-week-old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Raina to be Ruuxa’s companion, but they never imagined the two would bond so quickly after introducing each other through a sheet of glass. The two have been together every day since they first met, and even refused to be apart when Ruuxa had surgery to correct a growth abnormality called chondrodysplasia, which caused her legs to grow in a bow shape and kept her from running.

Ruuxa has since made a full recovery thanks to Raina’s gentle help, but luckily, the two ‘siblings’ never have to worry about being separated since the zoo plans keeping together for the rest of their lives as Raina helps Ruuxa stay calm in new surroundings and situations.

Dog and Cheetah Refuse Be Separated After Seeing Each Other Through Glass is an article from: LifeDaily

Animal Aid Unlimited recently received an alarming call about a street dog who was so sick she couldn’t even move.

When a rescuer arrived that day, it was raining and very cold but the poor dog was too sick to move and find shelter. 

Once the dog was taken to Animal Aid Unlimited’s headquarters, they discovered that an obscene amount of pus and fluid was coming out from her vagina. Upon further examination, rescuers believed she had an advanced case of pyometra, which is an infection in her uterus that when left untreated can cause septicemia, and even death. 

The poor dog needed immediate surgery, but rescuers had to first stabilize her or they feared she may die during her operation. 

The next day, they removed her very inflamed and infected uterus, which was more than 5 times the size of a normal dog’s uterus. The morning after her surgery, she was able to sit and eat regularly, which made the heroes of Animal Aid very happy. 

While her infection wound up spreading, and it took several weeks for her to recover, now Millie is healing nicely. After being under around the clock care, and getting the medical attention she so desperately needed, you would think Millie was a new dog!

Rescuers Didn’t Know Street Dog Needed Help Because She Was Too Sick To Cry is an article from: LifeDaily

If you’ve ever lost something with sentimental value, you’ll know how upsetting it can be, which is why one German man spent years looking for his wedding ring that sadly disappeared.

However, after three years without finding his small gold ring, the 82-year-old man from Bad Muenstereifel in Germany had almost given up hope that he would ever see his wedding band ever again.

Yet when the man was picking carrots from his veggie patch, he noticed something shimmering gold underneath a layer of dirt. He could barely believe his eyes, but when he brushed away some of the dirt, he found his wedding band, which must have fallen off years before while he was planting the carrots.

According to the man, his wife had always believed his ring would make its way back to him, but she didn’t live to see her prediction was true. Sadly, the elderly man’s wife passed away about six months before finding the ring, but he’s been much happier since he got his long-lost wedding ring back.

After being held captive alone for 300 days in a mall aquarium in Southern China, the world’s saddest polar bear named will finally get some relief. 

His move, however, will only be temporary while the aquarium undergoes renovations. 

The polar bear, named Pizza, has had a journey that’s sparked worldwide attention as animal activists have campaigned for the bear’s permanent relocation to a more suitable environment. Pizza has resided at the Grandview Mall in the Southern Chinese City of Guangzhou, and has lived in cramped quarters in the shopping center’s ocean theme park.

China policy specialist at Humane Society International, Peter Li, said: “At last he will feel the sun on his fur, sniff fresh air and see the sky above him,” but continued, “No amount of renovation could ever make a shopping mall a suitable place for this animal, and to send him back now would be cruel and heartless.” 

Li believes that pressure from the international community has contributed to the mall’s decision, but so has Pizza’s declining health.

According to The Guardian, on numerous occasions, Pizza displayed unhealthy behaviors such as head swaying and pacing that animal experts say are signs of distress and mental decline. 

Patrons visiting the mall aquarium have also tormented Pizza by banging on the glass and taking selfie photos with the flash from the camera blinding him. So far, half a million people have signed a petition urging the aquarium to permanently send Pizza home.

But according to BBC, it’s not even certain if the mall’s renovations include making a larger enclosure for Pizza.

World’s Saddest Polar Bear Just Got The Best News He Could Have Ever Hoped For is an article from: LifeDaily

The first few months home with a newborn baby can be incredibly stressful with round-the-clock diaper changes, constant feeding, and endless crying.

However, despite the sleepless nights and endless tears, most parents would never think of punishing their newborn, which is why one father from southern Kazakhstan was so horrified when he saw footage of his wife violently beating their infant baby who wouldn’t stop crying.

The exhausted mother, whose name hasn’t been released, couldn’t bare the sound of the baby’s cries any longer and decided to teach her newborn a lesson by violently slapping it and punching the baby, which only makes him cry out more in pain.

For such a tiny infant, hard punches and slaps could easily cause brain injuries and even death. Luckily, an unnamed 8-year-old little girl caught the entire attack on camera and showed it to the woman’s husband and the baby’s father, who immediately turned the footage into the police so they could start an investigation.

Dad Catches Monster Mom Violently Punching Their Baby is an article from: LifeDaily

Most parents would never let their child even get near a deadly wild animal like a tiger or a cougar.

That’s why it’s shocking that one terrible Texas mom actually gave her daughter those deadly creatures… and then let them roam freely inside her family’s home.

In September 2016, Houston police began investigating 34-year-old Trisha Meyer after taking payment from a customer for a $3,000 exotic kitten and never delivering the animal. Yet when they walked in the house, they discovered tigers, a skunk, a cougar, and a fox roaming freely around the home with Meyer’s 14-year-old daughter who was found petting the deadly animals.

Three of the tigers were still only cubs and didn’t pose much of a threat. However, she had an older male tiger that could be extremely dangerous, as well as several monkeys that she admitted were vicious and also told the police that one attacks people.

Meyer has since been evicted and it was revealed her landlord was unaware that she was keeping deadly animals on the property, and has also been arrested and is facing child endangerment charges. “She only stayed there for three weeks before I found out,” said property owner Binh Truong. “I don’t know how someone can put that much damage in three weeks.”

Mom Charged After Letting Vicious Wild Animals Loose In Her House is an article from: LifeDaily

Being a new Mom is hard enough without also having to juggle work or school.

However, Sarah Thompson of Greenwood, South Carolina is struggling and juggling and making it work as a new mother and teacher. The 26-year-old woman welcomed a baby into the world days after her semester began at Lander University. In an effort to receive an applied mathematics degree as soon as possible, Thompson is taking a full load of classes until  Spring, when she plans to graduate.

“I thought if I could make her life easier with breastfeeding and everything, why not do it?” Ryan told TODAY.

“I feel so lucky to have such an understanding professor. She even made a point to show me where the breastfeeding room is,” Thompson told TODAY.

“We all have rough places in life. Sometimes a little help can make it possible for people to find their way, to succeed, to become the person they want and are meant to be,” Ryan said. “I wanted to help Sarah and Isaiah and if I can make it all a little easier, then maybe they both can go a little further.”

Professor Encourages Student And New Mom To Bring Baby To Class is an article from: LifeDaily

Once you’ve conceived, it’s pretty much a given that you can’t get even more pregnant, right?

Actually, if you’re Kate Hill of Brisbane, Queensland, then that’s not entirely true. This Australian mother woman didn’t just get pregnant once, she became pregnant twice within the same pregnancy!

Hill and her husband, Peter, were struggling to conceive after a 2006 diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome, a hormonal condition that left her unable to ovulate. She underwent hormone treatment and fell pregnant.

Kate and Peter were later given two due dates, December 20 and December 30, 2015. They ended up having the same birthday, however, due to a cesarean. Two days of labor in a 10-day period is a little excessive for one Mom to handle.

Puppy Found Covered In Thousands Of Ticks Is Unrecognizable After Miraculous Recovery is an article from: LifeDaily

Animal rescue organization Take Me Home Pet Rescue spent weeks trying to capture a stray dog named Norah, only to discover she wasn’t alone.  

When the heroes discovered the poor dog lying near the side of a busy highway, they tried to grab her, but Norah wouldn’t let any humans come close. The team attempted to lure Norah in, but to their dismay, she didn’t take the bait. 

Soon, rescuers were forced to hold their breath watching Norah cross busy highways and streets, as she continued to wander back and forth. 

After weeks of pursuing Norah and not giving up, Take Me Home Pet Rescue captured Norah only to learn she looked much thinner than she was weeks ago and assumed she had been starving.

However, they soon learned Norah had been pregnant the entire time they tried to catch her and had just given birth to nine puppies only a couple of days earlier. She had been hiding the puppies in a courtyard of a nearby church, where she believed they would be safe inside bushes.

The team was not only able to rescue Norah, but she and all nine of her puppies were brought back to the rescue. The entire family will be under the care of TMHPR and will be adopted once they’re fully vetted and ready to go to their forever families.

Rescuers Discover Stray Dog Was Hiding Her Nine Puppies In A Field is an article from: LifeDaily

State Trooper Dwayne Phillips came to the rescue of a deer in need of serious help last Friday.

According to the New Jersey State Police, Phillips was dispatched to a home in Warren County where a deer was drowning in a swimming pool. The officer leaped into action, grabbed the buck by his rack and pulled him from the water to safety. 

The New Jersey State Police wrote on their Facebook, “It was clear that the buck had been struggling for quite some time. Now, believe it or not, we don’t necessarily teach recruits in the academy how to rescue drowning deer, but we do teach them how to think on their feet and adapt and improvise when a peculiar situation presents itself.”

“So what did he do? Well, he grabbed the buck by its rack and pulled him from the water to safety! Now, there is always the possibility of serious injury or worse when trying to rescue a drowning victim and even more so when the victim is a wild animal. But this trooper did an outstanding job!” the Police continued. 

They added saying that the buck eventually recovered and ran off, but he was so exhausted that he laid down on the ground for some time before he could regain energy to stand again. That was when the family snapped this pictured of Officer Phillips and the tired deer.

Hero Police Officer Saves Drowning Deer From Swimming Pool is an article from: LifeDaily

In an effort to reduce the prejudices people have towards other countries that are not their own, travel company Momondo gathered 67 people from various ethnicities and offered them a free DNA test. 

All of the subjects were bias against people from other backgrounds, because they saw them as entirely different from themselves. One subject tested even said, “In my opinion I am strong, and I am more important than a lot of people.”

It became pretty clear that most people believed they knew where they were from, and they thought they only had one background. “I’m 100 percent Bengali,” a man said. 

Some also suggested that their personal experiences led them to think less of certain nationalities. One British man said he wasn’t a fan of people from Germany, and a Kurdish woman said she hated Turkish people, before quickly clarifying that she meant she hated the government. Then, Momondo gave each of the participants a DNA test, and two weeks later they returned to see the results. 

As most may have guessed, when the participants read their results, they were in tears. The results left the ones who believed they only had one heritage and background especially shattered.
